Ms. Gigi Hightower MA, NCC,  Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern # IMH22841 and National Certified Counselor #1546742. She received her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Regis University, as well as a graduate certificate in Military Family Therapy.

Ms. Gigi believes that within each person is an innate wisdom and potential for self-actualization. In her work, she facilitates the process of re-discovering that wisdom and helping clients tap into their innermost strengths, so that they can live their lives more freely, mindfully, and authentically, and with deeper senses of purpose and connection to themselves and their values. She approaches her work with clients with compassion, empathy, and careful consideration of their past traumas, unmet needs, and lingering emotional wounds that may be contributing to their current concerns.

Ms. Gigi has worked with adults experiencing substance use and addiction-related issues, trauma and trauma-related disorders, anxiety, emotional turmoil and mood disorders, grief and loss, and eating disorders. She has also worked with couples and families. In her practice, Gigi utilizes an integrative approach, meaning she draws from more than one psychological theory and utilizes a range of counseling skills including Cognitive-Behavioral approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Humanistic therapy. She tailors her approach to meet clients where they are now and to support them in getting to where they want to be.
