Choose Health.

Food can be your friend or your enemy and more so our enemy now the way food is processed or produced. There is so much garbage in our food system that it should be at the top of the list for you to educate yourself on. Processed foods, meats, and dairy products are saturated in hormones, pesticides, antibiotics, other pharmaceuticals, and many other unknowingly dangerous substances.

Think about it; after years and years of eating unnatural chemicals and hormones your body is going to get sick. Fortunately, our bodies are amazing and can recover in many ways by changing our diets today. Furthermore, the time is now to stop poisoning our bodies and stop feeding the multi-billion dollar health care industry who puts more poison (pharmaceuticals) in our bodies to “cure” us. Here are are 5 quick tips to choosing healthier food options.

5 tips on choosing healthier foods for you and your family

  1.  Shop on the outside of the grocery store (fresh produce and frozen produce are waiting for you there).

  2. Choose organic and non-GMO foods.

  3. Skip the meat, eggs, and the dairy at the grocery store and try to find a local and responsible farmer who does not inject their animals full of Sh$# or feed them grain full of pesticides and GMO’s. Furthermore, GOOD LUCK on this one. Please share on this feed if you find this unicorn of a farmer. They do exist, just incredibly rare.

  4. Shop at your local farmer’s market for the freshest produce, baked goods, preserves, and the likes. This will help anyone dodge the creepy shelf life chemicals put in grocery store foods.

  5. Speaking of shelf life, try getting bread from the frozen section. However,  not all breads are created equal, look for brands such as Ezekiel. Ezekiel is made from sprouted grain that is not milled.

In conclusion, I could write and write about food and health. It is a tricky world we live in and I don’t think one person can be perfect when it comes to food with the way society is structured presently. I do believe the more  you know, the better choices you can make. Therefore, I hope that these 5 tips helps you in anyway possible to make better choices for yourself and the one’s you love.
