Anna Bearss

Anna Bearss MA,  received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Anna has experience working with adolescents and adults to overcome grief, anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and a wide variety of other difficulties.

Ms. Anna deeply enjoys working with clients and aims to create a warm, safe environment that helps clients look forward to counseling. Using cognitive behavioral techniques, Anna can help clients identify thought patterns, understand how those inform behavior, and make lasting changes for a more balanced life. Anna also has experience assisting couples identify stuck points in their relationships, build empathy and healthier communication patterns, and recover from divorce.

Ms. Anna operates from a humanistic and behavioristic perspective, believing all clients have the necessary strength to grow and prosper. Anna also draws on mindfulness techniques that allow clients to see themselves in a non-judgmental light and create a stronger mind-body connection. Anna knows that counseling can be difficult, challenging work for the client, but she is committed to helping clients feel heard and supported from the initial meeting to the last.
